Love the kernel of wisdom Russell dropped on getting excited for launching a full-price book one: don't bother. I've struggled with this, but when you guys spoke about the difference between launching a book 1 vs launching a series, it was totally a mindset thing. I could launch book 1 with a preorder for book 2 up and feel meh, but launching that same book 1 and book 2 preorder framed around launching a SERIES feels so much more exciting, even though the basics are the same. Still dealing with the same limitations in terms of full-price promotion, but I'm thinking about it with a different level of excitement. Such a wonderful nugget of inspiration. Thanks!
